In the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, police detained a 41-year-old local resident. Due to long-standing animosity towards his 44-year-old neighbor, he set fire to her car. The fire destroyed three cars.
Course of Events
The conflict between neighbors had been going on for a long time. During another quarrel, the man, driven by resentment, decided to take revenge. He set a rag on fire and threw it onto the neighbor's Chrysler, after which he went home.
Consequences and Responsibility
The fire spread quickly. The neighbor's Chrysler and the neighboring Nissan burned completely. The Volkswagen sustained serious damage.

- Nissan— completely destroyed;
- Volkswagen— significant damage.
The police promptly identified the suspect and detained him under Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The man was notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — intentional destruction of property. He faces up to 10 years' imprisonment.
